Using a keyword search

A keyword search is a free-form search that allows you to view multiple search results by entering a keyword. You can retrieve results across multiple datasets and tables in a one-click operation instead of providing multiple search criteria. An administrator can configure a keyword search for frequently used searches.

NOTE:

This functionality is only available if it has been configured by your administrator.

Sample keyword search scenarios

Scenario 1

Administrators can configure a keyword search for new buildings within a particular city area or municipal region. You can enter a municipal region as a keyword to retrieve search results for buildings.

Scenario 2

Administrators can configure a keyword search, StreetFinder for searching streets and roads in a map. You can enter the name of a street or road to view its details on the map and search results.

 

To use a keyword search:

1.	In the keyword search text box, enter a keyword for the search.

2.	Click . The results are shown in a list window and displayed on the map
